January 11th Meeting

It is a new year but at the Jan 11th meeting we will be celebrating the old, with the theme of, "Been There, Saw That". Yes, we will talking about hand saws, old saws, new saws and old wisdom that applies to both. Denis Chenard and John Wilson will cover which hand saw to use for which task, how to sharpen them, the difference between Japanese and Western saws and what to look for when you are buying an old saw. If you have a hand saw you are particually fond of bring it along and show it off during the show and tell portion of the meeting. This weeks book review will be a new release of an old book on Shaker furniture, so bring your old bones to the meeting and make a new friend while you are there.
